The software arm of the company was established in early 1998 to provide solutions to engineers to assist in management of technical projects. In recent years the development of solutions has moved to the more robust SQL Server database environment hosted 'in the cloud' using .net technologies.

Mark has over 23 years experience in Local Government both in New South Wales and Queensland, together with 2 years experience in State Government. His experience in project management led to his appointment to successfully coordinate a team of 38 multi disciplinary members across Dubbo City Council in the development of risk management strategies and contingency plans.

More recently, Mark has provided assistance to Orange City Council in the finalisation of an Asset Management Policy, Asset Strategy, and worked with a team to produce 6 comprehensive Asset Management Plans. He also provided direction and support in the improvements to their OHS System to enable Federal Government accreditation in that system - Orange City Council was the FIRST local government to achieve this.

Mark brings a diverse background to any team of which he is a part. With experience in Road Design Construction and Maintenance, Parks & Gardens, Geographical Information Systems, Traffic Management, Occupational Health and Safety Systems, Information Technology, Risk Management, Budgeting & Administration, Commercial Database Development, Policy and Procedure Development and Contingency Planning. He has been a manager / team leader, managing staff for over 20 years, and has developed numerous management, strategic and business plans for roads, footpaths, stormwater, recreational facilities, traffic and technical services functions.

With this experience, Mark has held acting roles as General Manager at Mid-Western Regional Council and as Group Manager in City Design (Brisbane City Council), leading a team of 50 professional engineers and scientists.

Mark's focus now is on expanding his software development business and increasing the Engineering Consultancy to assist Engineers in Local Government whether its their need to develop strategic / asset management plans or improve occupational health and safety systems.
