Product Overview

The documentation for the External Risk Assessor tool developed by OranaSoft is available from the navigation bar on the left. This application is intended for use by organisations that wish to determine the risks external organisations are to their continued viability. It’s focus is on the Year 2000 issue, however, it can be used to assess any risk that an external entity may incur.

This application has been developed to fill a need to perform a more detailed assessment and continuing risk management for Suppliers / Customers, etc. It does not deal with products supplied.

The program stores information on the Project Team undertaking the assessment, all Organisations with whom you have contact (as well as both generating and recording details of correspondence with them on their Y2K or ‘Other’ Status). The program is separated into several modules

Modifications to the program may be made depending on the requests made. In fact the evolution of this program came out of the Business Risk Assessor and although based on that program, it has been substantially rewritten to focus specifically on External Risks.
